New Shop!

First of all I'd like to apologize for sporadic art...work and life has been tearing me a new one. However, during that time I've been working behind the scenes to stock up my new Etsy shop that just opened yesterday! Yep, you read that right!
"Playhouse Crystal" is my new shop that has cute stuff for everyone! Also, did I mention that I've been obsessed with making pinback buttons? Yes. For about four months I've been stocking up supplies (and building up the courage) to get ready for a new store.
Right now there are just a few buttons available in store at the moment, but I plan on adding more stuff like more buttons, art prints, and even digital stuff like clip art, custom birthday invitations, printable coloring pages, and etc. But for now, I gotta start small and see how it goes.

Hello, everyone! I do apologize for not updating here like I promised. But I have finally opened new folders so you guys are able to share your cute creations with the group again!
As always, the submission limit for each folder is 5 deviations per week. Also I added another folder for Commission Info and Member's news where the limit for those is one submission per month. Sorry for the long wait!
Also, I wanted to let you guys know that I'm in search of someone to takeover the Founder position.
I realize that I am no longer capable of handling the responsibilities of this awesome group. I just have so much going on and I haven't been able to stay true to my word of keeping up the group as I should. It's not fair to you guys--especially when you all are the reason TKK is thriving and is a fun place to be.
TheKawaiiKorner is a labor of love and is a very special group. There's a lot of amazing artists and members here and I don't wanna take that away from you guys. So there's no way in the Milky Way I could just shut it down. That's why I need someone who truly feels the same about TKK and wants to keep it going on.
And if your wondering where I'll be, I'll still be a member of this awesome group. I'll always be a part of TheKawaiiKorner.

So, I finally decided to re-open commissions again. I've been itching to draw but I kinda been running into a block quite often. I even tried to participate in this year's Inktober, but I've only manage to squeeze out one so far. Waayyy behind, I know.
Anyway, I am doing chibi commissions starting at $15 USD.
Commission Info:For a single character: $15 USD
For each additional character: $10 USD (max of 4 characters per commission)
For a small critter companion (pet, parasite, pixie, etc.): $5 USD each (max of 4 critter companions per commission)
Notes:
* Basic backgrounds and accessories are free of charge.
* Sorry, I can't do just the critter companion(s) by (them)itself(ves). You must include at least one chibi in or
- Why my "Floatie" animation cost less than my still chibis?
- Because I put less detail (especially gradient shading) in the floaties because they lose quite a bit of quality when converting the frames into a gif and optimizing them for size and performance. The regular chibis, I do put a lot more detail into it as well as shadows and other shading techniques. Since those are saved as a hi-res png, they retain their detail and does not lose image quality.
- Here's an example of how the still chibi commission would look! I will update my commission ID in the future to reflect my new drawing style, but this is what you can expect. But you can have it drawn like the examples in the commission ID, if you like. I don't mind!

-Quadrupeds (But I can do Anthro/Furry)
-Full backgrounds (for now)
-Fan art/ Licensed characters
-And anything else I may not feel comfortable with drawing.

I do apologize for the literal absence from here. I just have a lot going on and then I can't seem to get in the drawing groove like I used too, that aside from my left hand hurting when I even try to write. I'm also very sorry for not replying to your messages and comments like I usually do on the spot. But do know this: I am very grateful for you guys and your kindness and appreciate all of the sweet words you've sent me! I love you! Let me hug you! Okay!
DA is still like my second home and I've seen a lot of cool stuff and met a lot of amazing fellow artists and friends here, too!
I'm seriously going to at least try popping my head in here more often and upload something when I can.
